"Most people think “selling” is the same as “talking”. But the most effective salespeople know that listening is the most important part of their job."

- Roy Bartell

The Challenge

“Sales is sales,” said a sales manager, ticked off after being questioned about his approach in a sales meeting.

We’re not sure what he meant either, but he was pretty passionate about it!

His idea seemed to be that the discipline of sales does not change. Sales need not cultural adaptation or to evolve with the buyer. For sales is sales and is complete in and of itself.

As you can guess, he didn’t close the deal the day he imparted such wisdom.

Our Solution

Our idea is that business, especially sales, needs to be ever growing and adapting in its methodologies, organizational traits, reasoning for metric selection and use of the social landscape; for both networking and relationship building.

We’ve developed (and continue to refine) a series of implementations that challenge the idea, “sales is sales.”
